Roles
You are the controller for the personal data your technicians generate through FieldPal. Sightline AI Ltd is the processor, acting only on your documented instructions.

Scope and purpose
We process the data solely to provide the service: answering questions from your documentation and building structured records. We use it for no independent purpose of our own.

Location
Customer platform data is hosted in the EU. Any change to hosting location is a change that requires your agreement, not a notification after the fact.

Security
Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of technical documentation and service records, including access control, encryption in transit and audit logging.

Sub-processors
Engaged only where necessary to deliver the service, disclosed on request, and bound by equivalent obligations.

Return and deletion
On termination your data is returned or deleted at your election. Your data doesn't become ours by virtue of the contract ending.
Commitments

- Customer data is never shared across deployments
- Your documentation and records aren't used to train models serving other customers
- Full audit trail and retention aligned to compliance requirements
- Your data stays yours contractually, regardless of which partner sold you the licence
- Assistance with data subject requests and, where required, data protection impact assessments
- Notification of a personal data breach without undue delay
